Subject: PSE Electric Quality of Service

Nancy Stafford - My name is Roger Kouchi. I work for the Consumer Affairs section of the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission. I attended a public meeting yesterday evening (4/12/04) at the Woodinville Public Library. Approximately 20 residents of the area came to voice their concerns about the electric reliability in parts of Woodinville area (i.e., Hollywood Hills; Lexington; Crystal Green Hill; NE 161st Place; Cottage Lake area).

One of the residents indicated that the Unincorparted Bear Creek Council was active in finding a resolution to the electric reliability problem(s) being experienced in the area. I just want to say that the Washington Utilites and Transportation Commission is also interested in finding a resolution. We are interested in partnering with the residents in the area along with PSE to improve the electric relibility in your area.

Please feel free to contact me to discuss this matter further. Also, please feel free to refer residents to us regarding continuing problems with electric reliability. Let me know if you have any questions. Thank you.
