FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Upper Bear Creek Community Council meets the second and fourth Tuesdays of most months. The purpose of the council is to inform, assist and represent our community in dealing with King County government and other entities with respect to issues that affect our community.

UPPER BEAR CREEK COMMUNITY COUNCIL PUBLIC FORUM

Tuesday September 23,rd 2003, 7:30pm Woodinville Library
17105 Avondale Rd., Woodinville

King County Sheriff Dave Reichert joins King County Fire Marshall Jim Rankin with an update on Emergency Preparedness for our area. Both men are able to discuss other concerns as well:
How can our residents recognize a “meth lab”? What is your response time to emergency calls in our area? Who can posses fire arms and where can they legally be used? What are the hazards of fireworks and how do these officers enforce the rules? What can the Sheriff’s office do about traffic violations? With children on the roads waiting for school buses once again, what can we do to keep them safe? Bring an update on budget priorities and what’s going on in the rest of the county…are our concerns similar overall?
What questions can you bring to these leaders of law enforcement?

All interested persons of the community are welcome to attend
